Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Place your pie dish on the counter.
- Fry bacon until crispy brown, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and chop into small pieces.
- Roll out your pie crust, press it into your pie dish, and prick the bottom with a fork.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until combined.
Assembly
- Sprinkle bacon across the pie crust, followed by shredded Swiss cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over everything and sprinkle fresh chives on top.
Baking
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
