Ingredients

For the salad
  • 1 lb Steak Any type of steak like flank or sirloin can be used.
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic glaze For marinating the steak.
  • 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese Can be swapped for feta or shredded Parmesan.
  • 6 cups Mixed greens
  • 1 cup Grilled corn Corn should be grilled until charred.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For drizzling on the salad.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper To taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Marinate the steak in balsamic glaze for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the steak over medium-high heat until desired doneness. Allow it to rest before slicing.
  3. Meanwhile, grill the corn until charred and tender. Cut the kernels off the cob.
  4. In a large bowl, toss mixed greens, grilled corn, and sliced steak.
  5. Crumble Gorgonzola cheese on top.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for about 2-3 days but keep the dressing separate to maintain crispness. Do not freeze the salad as the greens' texture will deteriorate.
