Method
Preparation of Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it’s frothy.
- Mix in the mashed bananas, melted butter, and salt, and gradually add flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it’s nice and smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
Rolling and Baking
- Roll the dough out into a rectangle and sprinkle it with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll it up tightly, slice into rolls, and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Making the Frosting
- For the frosting, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle frosting over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
These rolls keep well in the fridge for about 3-4 days. Store in an airtight container for freshness. You can also freeze them for up to 2 months.
