Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
Flavor Additions
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter and milk, then gradually add it to the dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fold in the shredded cheese, minced garlic, and parsley.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for that golden finish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
