  • 1 cup sweet cherries, pitted Fresh or frozen
  • 1 piece banana Ripe
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Can be substituted with dairy-free yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk Can use any preferred milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional for sweetness
  • as needed cups ice cubes Optional for a chilled smoothie

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the spinach and pit the cherries if they are not frozen.
  2. Combine the spinach, sweet cherries, banana, Greek yogurt, and almond milk in a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Adjust sweetness with honey if desired.
  5. Add ice cubes if you want a chilled smoothie and blend until combined.
  6. Pour into a glass and enjoy your refreshing Cherry Spinach Smoothie!

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen cherries. You can also substitute banana with avocado or customize yogurt type. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
