  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded for topping.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your pie crust in a greased pie dish.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, add the onions, and caramelize until golden brown and fragrant.
  3. Cook the bacon until it’s chewy, then chop it into pieces and mix it with the caramelized onions.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Sprinkle the bacon and onion mixture into the pie crust, pour the egg mixture over, and then top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
Baking

  2. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

For best results, let the quiche cool slightly before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat slices in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
