Preparation
- If using sandwich bread, flatten each slice with a rolling pin. For tortillas, skip this step.
- Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread/tortilla.
- Roll up the bread/tortilla tightly around the cheese.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or cooking spray.
- Place the roll-ups seam side down in the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- Serve warm with tomato soup or marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For variety, mix different cheeses or add thinly sliced meats or veggies. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
