Ingredients
  

For the shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can substitute with any hard cheese.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the shrimp along the back to butterfly them, then lay them flat on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat each shrimp with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until shrimp are cooked through and breadcrumbs are golden.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 2-3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven to regain crispiness.
