Preparation
- Start by washing and slicing the cucumber thinly.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with salt, pepper, and any herbs you like to taste.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer cucumber slices on top of the cream cheese on half of the bread slices.
- Place the other half of the bread on top and press gently.
- Cut the sandwiches into quarters or triangles.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
Notes
These sandwiches are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store them in the fridge for about 2 hours. Assemble without cucumbers if prepping ahead, and add cucumbers just before serving.
