  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp for best flavor
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Don't skimp on the garlic
  • 1/2 cup white wine Use a dry white wine
  • 1 lemon juiced Fresh lemon juice preferred
  • Salt and pepper to taste Essential for flavor
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Pasta or crusty bread (for serving) Serves as a base or accompaniment

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Serve over cooked pasta or with crusty bread, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Keep an eye on the shrimp to avoid overcooking. Can store leftovers in the fridge for about 3 days.
