  • 1 large Juicy summer tomato Slice for the sandwich.

Preparation
  1. Spread the creamy herb-spread cream cheese on slices of whole wheat bread.
  2. Slice the summer tomatoes and place them on one slice of the bread.
  3. Top with another slice of bread, cream cheese side down.
  4. Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh tomatoes at room temperature. Toast the bread for added crunch, and consider adding sliced avocado or a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
