  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons butter Use good quality butter for best flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 1 piece lemon, juiced For added freshness.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season according to preference.
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Baking
  1. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.
  2. Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with your favorite vegetables or over rice.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight when ready to enjoy. Optionally, add lemon zest or splash of white wine to the garlic butter for extra flavor.
