Ingredients

For the lobster mixture
  • 1 lb lobster meat (fresh or frozen) Fresh is best, but frozen works if thawed properly.
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter Use high-quality unsalted butter for rich flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced) Sauté until fragrant.
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice Adds brightness to the dish.
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped) For garnish.
For the rolls
  • 4 pieces New England-style rolls Any soft, sturdy roll like brioche or ciabatta can work if needed.

Method

Preparation
  1. Boil or steam the lobster for about 8-10 minutes. Once done, let it cool and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped lobster to the skillet and stir gently, allowing it to absorb the garlicky flavors for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  5. Toast the New England rolls until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Assemble each toasted roll with the lobster mixture and serve immediately with extra lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush the rolls with leftover garlic butter before toasting. If storing leftovers, keep in the fridge for up to 2 days, but reheat carefully to maintain crunch.
