  • 2 pieces Salmon fillets Wild-caught is preferred for better taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Freshly squeezed recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped Optional garnish.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. Drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon in the last minute of cooking.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, enjoy the salmon fresh. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for about 2 months. Reheat gently in a pan to avoid drying out the fish.
