Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cake pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add almond milk, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serving
- Serve as is or frost with your favorite vegan frosting.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze slices for up to 3 months. For best flavor, frost just before serving.
