Slider Components
  • 12 pieces Hawaiian rolls Soft sweet rolls
  • 12 slices slices of ham Use your favorite type of ham
  • 12 slices slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar) Choose your preferred cheese
Butter Mixture
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted To brush on top
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Adds flavor
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds For texture
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar Balances the flavors
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder For added flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, brown sugar, and garlic powder.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Layer the ham and cheese on the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
  6. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These sliders can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days or frozen for up to a month. To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
