Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee Freshly brewed and cooled slightly
  • 1 piece ripe banana
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Can be substituted with plant-based yogurt for a dairy-free option
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional; can be replaced with maple syrup or stevia
  • as needed cubes Ice cubes Optional; to make the smoothie colder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew a cup of coffee and allow it to cool slightly.
  2. In a blender, combine the coffee, banana, spinach, Greek yogurt, and honey.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until you reach the desired consistency.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Notes

Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Freeze portions in an airtight container for longer storage. Blend right from the freezer for a delightful treat.
