  • 1 package Sweet Hawaiian rolls Typically comes in a pack of 12 rolls.
  • 8 slices Cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite) Feel free to mix different cheeses for variety.
  • 1/4 cup Butter Softened, and additional for brushing tops.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  3. Butter the inside of each roll.
  4. Add a slice of cheese to each roll.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  6. Brush the tops with more butter.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm alongside tomato soup or with a spicy dipping sauce for an extra kick. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months.
