  • 1 package puff pastry Thawed if frozen
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 each egg, beaten For egg wash
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into strips.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of each pastry strip and roll it up.
  5. Brush each roll with the beaten egg.
  6. Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm alongside ranch or salsa for dipping. If you have leftovers, store them in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for about a month. Reheat in the oven for best results.
