  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 ripe banana ripe banana For creaminess and natural sweetness.
  • 1 scoop vegan protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup Optional, adjust sweetness to taste.
  • as needed Ice cubes

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine almond milk, banana, vegan protein powder, lemon juice, lemon zest, maple syrup, and ice cubes.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed (add more maple syrup if you like it sweeter!).
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

This shake is best enjoyed fresh for optimal creaminess but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake before consuming. For a fun twist, freeze into popsicles!
