Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces lobster tails Fresh or frozen
  • 4 pieces hot dog buns For serving
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Creamy base
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice For brightness
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives Freshly chopped
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning
  • as needed butter For toasting buns

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the lobster tails in boiling water for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Remove from water and let cool.
  2. Once cooled, remove the meat from the shells and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, combine the lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, melt butter and toast the hot dog buns until golden brown.
Assembly
  1. Fill each bun with the lobster mixture and serve immediately.

Notes

Toast the buns for the perfect crunch. Garnish with extra chives for a pop of color. For a spicy kick, add hot sauce or Old Bay seasoning.
