Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped Fresh lobster meat for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used for a lighter version.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is recommended.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 pieces split-top hot dog buns Toasted for extra crunch.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For toasting the buns.
  • Fresh chives, for garnish Optional, for presentation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Gently fold until well mixed.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  3. Toast the hot dog buns until golden brown.
  4. Spoon the lobster mixture into each bun and garnish with chives if desired.

Notes

These lobster rolls can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days. The lobster mixture can be prepared in advance, but keep the buns separate until serving for best texture.
