Ingredients
  

Lobster Filling
  • 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped Fresh is best, but frozen works too.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt or vegan mayo.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped Can substitute with green onions.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning to your taste.
Buns
  • 4 pieces hot dog buns or lobster rolls These will be toasted.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter For toasting the buns.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, chives, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Toasting Buns
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Let it melt and get bubbly.
  2. Toast the buns in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
Assembly
  1. Fill each toasted bun with the lobster mixture.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy your coastal classic!

Notes

Serve with a side of crispy fries or coleslaw for balance. Use fresh lemon wedges for added zest. Leftover lobster mixture can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days in an airtight container, but do not assemble buns until serving.
