Preparation
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and mustard until smooth.
- Lay out 3 slices of bread and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on each (using about ½ of it).
- On one slice, stack 2 slices of cheddar, add 1 or 2 slices of ham, and a few lettuce leaves.
- Top with another slice of bread (spread side facing down) and repeat the stacking with 1 slice of cheese, ham, lettuce, and the last slice of bread.
- Gently press down to secure everything.
- Repeat with the other 3 slices of bread.
- Cut each sandwich in half and stick 6 toothpicks into each half before cutting around them.
- Transfer onto a serving tray and enjoy!
Notes
These sandwiches are easy to make ahead of time and store. Pair with crunchy chips or veggies for extra fun.
