Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
  • 4 teaspoons mustard
  • 6 slices bread
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • Baby lettuce leaves

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and mustard until smooth.
  2. Lay out 3 slices of bread and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on each (using about ½ of it).
  3. On one slice, stack 2 slices of cheddar, add 1 or 2 slices of ham, and a few lettuce leaves.
  4. Top with another slice of bread (spread side facing down) and repeat the stacking with 1 slice of cheese, ham, lettuce, and the last slice of bread.
  5. Gently press down to secure everything.
  6. Repeat with the other 3 slices of bread.
  7. Cut each sandwich in half and stick 6 toothpicks into each half before cutting around them.
  8. Transfer onto a serving tray and enjoy!

Notes

These sandwiches are easy to make ahead of time and store. Pair with crunchy chips or veggies for extra fun.
