Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled Chill before using for the best texture.
  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or flavored) Greek yogurt adds extra protein.
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Adjust to taste.
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional) Skip for a lighter version.
  • as needed Ice cubes Add before blending for desired thickness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the cooled coffee, yogurt, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, and protein powder if using.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add ice cubes and blend again until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy your refreshing Mocha Protein Shake!

Notes

For best flavor, chill the coffee beforehand. This shake is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days. Want to mix it up? Use almond or coconut yogurt and add a banana for extra creamy texture.
