  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) Use for added sweetness
  • as needed cubes Ice Optional, for a colder smoothie

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, banana, and milk.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. If desired, add honey or maple syrup for sweetness and ice cubes for a colder smoothie.
  4. Blend again until well mixed.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness. If low on peanut butter, try almond butter. Add more oats to thicken or introduce chia seeds for more nutrition.
