Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk warm
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Filling Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Glaze Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup strawberries, pureed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk to adjust glaze consistency

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a rectangle.
  2. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  3. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the buttered dough.
  4. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  5. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Glazing
  1. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, pureed strawberries, and milk until smooth.
  2. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in microwave for 15-20 seconds or in the oven.
