Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed Make sure it's cold for a flaky texture.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to substitute with other cheeses.
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour in the milk and mix just until combined.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and brush with butter.
  4. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Keep biscuits in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven to enjoy later.
