  • 8 oz linguine Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or frozen.
  • 1 lb mussels, cleaned Can substitute with clams if desired.
Cooking Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For sautéing.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Provides flavor base.
  • 1/2 cup white wine Use dry wine like Sauvignon Blanc.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved Adds freshness.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste To enhance flavor.
  • Red pepper flakes (optional) For added heat, if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Cooking
  1. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Add mussels, cover the skillet, and cook until mussels open, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in cherry tomatoes, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss in the cooked linguine and mix well to combine all ingredients and heat through.
  6. Serve with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

For best flavor, serve immediately. Can accommodate swaps for dietary preferences, such as clams for mussels or making it vegan with sautéed mushrooms.
