  • 1 tsp Pepper To season the beef.
  • 2 cloves Garlic For making crispy garlic chips.

  • 1/4 cup Ponzu sauce For drizzling over the sliced beef.
  • 1 tbsp Chives For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat a skillet over high heat with a little vegetable oil.
  2. Season the beef with salt and pepper, then sear it for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned but still rare inside.
  3. Remove the beef from the pan and let it cool, then refrigerate until firm.
  4. Thinly slice the cold beef.
  5. For the garlic chips, thinly slice garlic and fry in oil until crispy.
  6. Arrange the beef slices on a platter, drizzle with ponzu sauce, and top with crunchy garlic chips and chives. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let the beef rest before slicing for juicier pieces. Use a sharp knife to slice for best results. Extra crispy garlic chips enhance the dish!
