Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp recommended for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Use your favorite mayonnaise.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice is ideal.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or parsley Use your preferred herb.
  • 4 pieces soft butter rolls Pillow-y texture ideal for holding the shrimp mixture.
  • Lettuce leaves (optional) Adds a nice crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the shrimp until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and fresh dill or parsley.
  3. Chop the cooked shrimp into bite-sized pieces and add to the dressing. Stir to combine.
  4. Split the butter rolls and, if desired, place a lettuce leaf inside each.
  5. Spoon the shrimp mixture into the rolls.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious shrimp rolls!

Notes

These rolls are best enjoyed fresh. Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days. For best results, keep the dressing separate until ready to eat.
