Preparation
- Boil the eggs in a pot of water for about 10-12 minutes.
- Remove the eggs and place them in ice water to cool.
- Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Gochujang sauce, salt, and pepper to the yolks and mix until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites.
- Garnish with chopped chives or green onions.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
These deviled eggs hang out in the fridge for about 2-3 days. Cover them tightly with plastic wrap to keep them fresh. They do not freeze well. For creamier filling, add a splash of milk or cream. Avoid overcooking your eggs to prevent green yolks and consider swapping Gochujang for a smoky chipotle sauce for a spicy kick.
