  • 1 cup 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 cup 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss) Use your preferred cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional) Adds warmth to the flavor

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well blended.
  3. Stir in the chopped spinach, diced ham, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg if you’re feeling fancy.
  4. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pour the egg mixture directly into the crust.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm, ideally with a side salad drizzled with balsamic glaze. This quiche keeps for about 3-4 days in the fridge. It can also be frozen for up to a month.
