Method
Preparation of the Dough
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add warmed milk, melted butter, and egg; mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Filling
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Assemble the Rolls
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Baking the Rolls
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Make the Glaze
- In a bowl, mix pureed strawberries, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.
