Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Lay out wonton wrappers and place a small spoonful of the cheesecake mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold over, and press to seal.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the sealed wontons until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serving
- Top with fresh strawberries and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
Notes
Don't overfill the wontons to prevent them from bursting while frying. For a healthier option, brush with oil and bake instead of frying. You can also switch out strawberries for blueberries or raspberries.
