Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt until crumbly. Add the egg yolk and mix until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into a tart pan and poke holes with a fork. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
Ganache Preparation
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just boiling. Remove from heat and pour over the chopped chocolate, stirring until smooth.
Assembly
- Pour the chocolate ganache into the cooled crust and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
- Toss sliced strawberries with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Top the set tart with strawberries and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
