- In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, remaining sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Fold in the macerated strawberries and crushed Oreo cookies into the cream mixture.
Churning
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Freezing
- Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Notes
Your homemade ice cream can chill in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Keep it covered to avoid freezer burn. For an adventurous twist, try using different cookies or making it vegan with coconut milk.
