Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups Frozen Strawberries About 200-220g
  • 1 cup Frozen Pineapple Chunks About 150-160g
  • 0.5 large Banana, ripe (preferably frozen and sliced) OR 0.5 cup Greek Yogurt or dairy-free alternative
  • 0.5 to 1 cup Liquid of your choice (like almond milk, coconut water, or pineapple juice) Start with 0.5 cup and add more to reach desired consistency
  • 1-2 teaspoons Optional Sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar) If fruit isn't sweet enough or if you prefer a sweeter smoothie
  • 0.25 teaspoon Optional Vanilla Extract For extra flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut your pineapple into chunks and freeze.
  2. Peel and slice your banana, then freeze the slices.
  3. Measure out your yogurt (if using) and liquid.
Blending
  1. Add the yogurt or fresh fruit first into the blender.
  2. Then add the frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple chunks, and frozen banana slices.
  3. Start blending on a low speed and gradually increase to high.
  4. Blend for about 45-60 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  5. If the smoothie is too thick, add more liquid until desired consistency.
  6. If it's too thin, add a few more frozen fruit pieces or ice cubes.
  7. Add sweetener if desired and pulse to combine.
  8. If using vanilla extract, add it now and pulse briefly.
  9. Garnish as desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Freezing fruit the night before enhances creaminess. You can also experiment with different liquids and add a scoop of protein powder for an extra boost.
