Ingredients
  

Lobster Filling
  • 12 ounces langostino tails (thawed, if purchased frozen) Make sure they’re fully thawed and dry.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Divided
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Pinch sea salt
Buns
  • 4 pieces split-top hot dog buns (preferably brioche)
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter (or olive oil or ghee) For spreading on buns.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder For sprinkling on buns.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat dry the langostino tails. Make sure they’re fully thawed and dry.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the langostino, half the mayonnaise, and chives. Slowly add more mayonnaise until the lobster is lightly coated.
Toasting Buns
  1. Spread softened butter on both sides of the buns and sprinkle garlic powder lightly over the top.
  2. Toast the buns in a skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and warm.
Serving
  1. Load the lobster salad into the toasted buns and serve immediately, preferably with garlic sauce on the side.

Notes

For a flavor boost, consider adding avocado or using Greek yogurt mixed with mayo. Serve with crispy fries or a chilled avocado salad.
